The Health Buzz was founded in 2009 by Rose Deats, BS, MS, CTC, CNC. Rose has worked in the health industry for over 25 years, as a Laboratory Manager and Technologist in the field of medical testing, product educator for medical laboratory systems, and, most recently, as a certified weight loss coach and Nutraceutical consultant. Rose's experience in the medical laboratory has given her insight into the innate nature of disease states and how the clinical application of pharmaceutical and other formulations impact those states.
 
Rose became interested in complimentary health care during her pregnancy with her second child, when her work with a homeopathic practitioner helped her through difficult aspects of her pregnancy. Rose began her work as a weight loss coach and Nutraceutical Consultant as she followed her passion to educate others about the creation of comprehensive, integrative health. Rose received her training in nutraceutical applications and weight management at the NutraMetrix Educational Institute and continues to pursue studies into the nutritional foundations of health.

Rose received a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from Hunter College in 1985 and completed her Master of Science in Health Administration from Iona College, where she graduated with Honors. She received her training and certification as a Transitions Weight Loss Coach and as a Nutraceutical Consultant from the NutraMetrix Educational Institute.
